L’indice PMI composito di luglio ha mostrato una contrazione economica in Europa non indifferente, passando al 48,9, dal 49,9 di giugno e marcando la contrazione maggiore da novembre.

L’indice PMI composito di luglio ha mostrato una contrazione economica in Europa non indifferente, passando al 48,9, dal 49,9 di giugno e marcando la contrazione maggiore da novembre. Gli occhi restano comunque puntati sulle prossime dichiarazioni della Presidente della BCE Christine Lagarde in merito all’andamento della politica monetaria. Gli investitori prevedono infatti che la Francoforte aumenterà i tassi d’interesse di un quarto di punto percentuale.

Negli USA l’indice PMI composito di luglio è uscito sotto le attese, 52 vs 53.2 precedente. Occhi puntati sul grande evento di questa settimana che sarà il vertice di due giorni della FED, che inizia oggi e si concluderà domani con la decisione sul tasso d’interesse alla quale seguirà la conferenza stampa di Powell.

Il Regno Unito segue la scia dell’Europa, con il PMI composito al di sotto delle attese del mercato (50.7 vs 52.4).  Il settore manifatturiero registra il dato di 45.0 vs 46.1 atteso, mentre relativamente ai servizi il dato si ferma a 51.5 vs 53 atteso.
