La presidente della BCE Lagarde ha affermato che le banche centrali devono fissare le aspettative d’inflazione ai propri obiettivi in un momento in cui i cambiamenti nei mercati del lavoro e dell’energia e le turbolenze geopolitiche causano delle oscillazioni dei prezzi. Sul fronte ucraino, prima dell’incontro tra Putin ed Erdogan, la Russia ieri ha attaccato con un drone un importante porto ucraino per l’esportazione di cereali, danneggiando inoltre magazzini e edifici produttivi. In concomitanza di ciò, Il ministro della Difesa ucraino Oleksii Reznikov ha presentato le proprie dimissioni.

Il Presidente Biden in Pennsylvania torna ad accendere la rivalità con Trump, esaltando quanto di buono fatto durante la sua amministrazione, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la creazione di posti di lavoro che con lui ha toccato livelli record, contrariamente a quanto accaduto sotto l’ex Presidente repubblicano.

Il Ministro inglese dell’istruzione Gillian Keegan ha fatto il mea culpa, dopo aver imprecato durante un suo intervento pubblico in risposta ad alcuni contestatori, rimproverando loro di non essere stata ringraziata a sufficienza per il lavoro svolto.
