L’indice dei prezzi al consume italiano a marzo ha segnato un valore del -0.4% vs -0.3% atteso e 0.2% del mese precedente. Lo stesso dato, su base annua, ha segnato il 7.6% vs 7.7% previsto.

Secondo le ultime parole del membro della BCE Kazaks ci si aspetta che nella prossima riunione l’Eurotower possa rialzare i tassi di 25 o 50 punti base.
A tal riguardo, la maggior parte degli economisti intervistati da Bloomberg si aspetta che la BCE rialzi i tassi di 25 punti sia nel meeting di maggio che in quelli di giugno e luglio, arrivando così al picco del 4.25%.

Si apprezza il Biglietto Verde, spinto anche dai buoni risultati trimestrali del settore bancario, che non sembra mostrare segnali di ulteriori stress dopo le turbolenze vissute lo scorso mese da alcune banche regionali. Il DXY si attesta a quota 102, mentre EURUSD da ieri è stabilmente sotto 1.1000, che al momento marca il primo livello di resistenza intraday.

Il Primo Ministro Sunak è sotto indagine dalla Commissione di controllo degli standard Parlamentari: l’organo di controllo ritiene che la moglie dell’inquilino di Downing Street sarebbe stata favorita nel suo ruolo amministrativo in una società che cura l’assistenza all’infanzia dalle ultime manovre del Governo in tale ambito. Il Portavoce di Sunak ha dichiarato che il Primo Ministro si prodigherà al fine di facilitare il lavoro dei Commissari. Intanto nel Regno Unito si fanno largo nuovi organismi di vigilanza per cercare di incoraggiare una maggiore inclusione dei servizi FinTech nei servizi bancari: al moment si contano ben 2,500 società nel settore che è il terzo più grande del mondo ad oggi.
