Il rallentamento dell’attività manifatturiera statunitense, con l’indice ISM uscito a 48.7 vs 49.8 atteso, ha indebolito il Biglietto Verde nei confronti delle G-10, con l’Euro che ha testato massimi che non si vedevano dal primo giorno di primavera. Sono immediatamente ripartite le aspettative degli investitori su possibili tagli da parte della FED nel corso dell’anno: vediamo se la ridda di dati sul mercato del lavoro, in uscita da oggi, sedimenterà questa view. Di per certo, il mercato si aspetta dopodomani il taglio di 25 punti base da parte dell’Eurotower, che ad ogni modo ritiene che il raggiungimento dell’obiettivo del 2% rimanga accidentato (leggasi no ulteriore taglio in luglio).

Continua a essere sostenuta la Sterlina contro le principali valute, in giornate con pochi rilasci di dati. Sicuramente la notizia “boom” è il ritorno sulla scena politica del brexiter Nigel Farage, che in una conferenza stampa, contrariamente alle attese ha annunciato la sua discesa in campo alle prossime politiche…e le flebili speranze di Sunak di salvare le fortune del suo partito alle prossime elezioni sembrano, con questa notizia, svanire.
