I mercati prendono una pausa

Dall'UE risuonano le parole del Membro della BCE Centeno, il quale ha affermato che i tassi non ritorneranno più a zero.

Sul fronte politico, il Parlamento spagnolo ha votato la fiducia Pedro Sanchez del PSOE, il quale si è nuovamente assicurato il ruolo di Primo Ministro dopo le inconclusive elezioni del mese di luglio.

Negli Stati Uniti le richieste iniziali di sussidi di disoccupazione hanno registrato un valore di 231 mila vs 220 mila atteso. A rincuorare gli animi è il Philadelphia Manufacturing Index, con un dato di -5.9 contro il -9 previsto. Purtroppo, la produzione industriale ha segnato un -0.6% contro il -0.3% atteso.

Dalla BoE, sebbene facendo riferimento agli ultimi dati (soprattutto relativi alla crescita dell’inflazione) si possa pensare come l’istituto centrale londinese possa tirare un sospiro di sollievo e allentare la morsa, il membro Greene ha affermato come si debba perseguire con una politica monetaria restrittiva per più a lungo.
