Apertura della settimana debole per i listini azionari europei, con gli investitori in attesa dei dati di questa settimana sull’inflazione e delle decisioni future sui tassi di interesse da parte delle principali banche centrali. In particolare, sotto osservazione i tassi di interesse europei, soprattutto per il Belpaese, dove secondo l’ultimo bollettino dell’Agenzia delle Entrate questi hanno determinato la contrazione del mercato immobiliare del 10.4% rispetto allo stesso periodo dello scorso anno.

Il Bureau of Labor Statistics degli Stati Uniti rilascerà la misura più importante dell’inflazione, i dati dell’Indice dei prezzi al consumo, nel pomeriggio di oggi. Si prevede che l’inflazione

scenda al 3.1% su base annua, mentre il dato core dovrebbe rimanere stabile al 4% su base annua. Su base mensile, l’inflazione headline è vista in accelerazione dello 0.1% mentre il core dovrebbe salire allo 0.3%. Inizia il meeting del FOMC, braccio armato della FED, che domani si pronuncerà relativamente alle ultime decisioni di politica monetaria dell’anno.

La Bank of England annuncerà la sua decisione sui tassi d’interesse giovedì 14 dicembre e, man mano che ci avviciniamo al momento della pubblicazione, le aspettative previste dagli economisti prevedono che l’istituto centrale londinese mantenga invariato il tasso di riferimento per la terza riunione consecutiva al 5.25%.
