L’indice dei prezzi al consumo tedesco si è attestato in linea con le previsioni al 3.7% su base mensile, come del resto anche lo stesso dato riferito al Belpaese, nello specifico 0.6%.
L’indice ZEW, che rappresenta lo stato di fiducia sull’economia in Europa, è risultato migliore delle previsioni a gennaio con un dato di 22.7 vs 21.9 atteso.
Secondo le ultime indiscrezioni, il Governatore della Banca di Francia nonché membro della BCE Villeroy ha dichiarato che, anche se la prossima mossa della BCE sarà probabilmente un taglio dei tassi di interesse, non c’è fretta di farlo e bisognerebbe essere pazienti.

In rialzo l’inflazione nel Regno Unito, con il dato headline al 4% contro l’atteso 3.8% e il core che si mantiene al 5.1% contro il 4.9% atteso. Per quanto riguarda invece il mercato del lavoro si può dire che questo sia rimasto stabile, nonostante la vulnerabilità delle condizioni economiche nei mercati nazionali e internazionali. Una crescita dei salari più contenuta del previsto dovrebbe convincere maggiormente gli investitori su una riduzione anticipata dei tassi da parte della Banca d’Inghilterra.
