Segnali di ripresa per il settore manifatturiero si intravedono questa mattina, con il relativo PMI uscito sopra le attese...

Nel Vecchio Continente la Consumer Confidence ha infatti segnato uno scarso -16.1, peggiore delle aspettative di -14.3 Dopo le proteste degli agricoltori tedeschi, anche quelli francesi sono scesi in strada contro le misure del governo di casa. Il Governo Meloni brinda per l’approvazione al Senato del ddl Calderoli per l’autonomia. Segnali di ripresa per il settore manifatturiero si intravedono questa mattina, con il relativo PMI uscito sopra le attese, mentre frenano i servizi.

Pubblicato ieri l’indice manifatturiero della FED di Richmond per il mese di gennaio: il dato precedente si è attestato a -11 rispetto al -7 previsto mentre l’attuale si è attestato a -15 e vede un’ulteriore contrazione del settore. Nel frattempo, nel Mar Rosso la tensione è ai massimi: nella giornata di ieri è stato sferrato un nuovo attacco, in coalizione con l’esercito britannico,

contro le postazioni dei ribelli Houthi. Mohammed Albukhaiti, membro del consiglio di governo degli Houthi, fa sapere che questi attacchi non passeranno impuniti e che il gruppo ribelle continuerà a sfidare l’occidente. Trump vince anche nel New Hampshire, con un margine però inferiore rispetto all’Iowa contro l’antagonista Haley. Intanto il NY Post rivela che la ex first lady Michelle Obama avrebbe lanciato segretamente la sua campagna elettorale per prendere il posto di Biden, il quale annuncerebbe il suo ritiro il prossimo mese di maggio. Sarà solo gossip?

Con i dati positivi del PMI pubblicati questa mattina, continua a tenere botta la Sterlina inglese, che punta i minimi non più toccati dal settembre scorso.
