Il Biglietto Verde mantiene la sua forza relativa, nonostante rispetto all’avvio di ieri abbia perso un po’ di terreno contro l’euro...

Il Governatore di Bankit Fabio Panetta ha dichiarato che l’inflazione nell’Eurozona sta rapidamente scendendo verso l’obiettivo del 2% e ha aggiunto che il suo andamento sta rendendo possibile un taglio dei tassi. Anche Philip Lane ha sottolineato che si potrà prendere in considerazione un’inversione della politica monetaria quando la BCE sarà più sicura che la crescita dei salari stia rallentando.

Il Biglietto Verde mantiene la sua forza relativa, nonostante rispetto all’avvio di ieri abbia perso un po’ di terreno contro l’euro. Con dichiarazioni non troppo degne di nota da parte dei vari FED speakers che si sono avvicendati ieri e in attesa che il calendario economico porti in dote qualche dato più interessante (oggi previsti gli ordinativi di beni durevoli, ad esempio),

 

i mercati si focalizzano sempre più sulla data di giovedì 28 per il PIL e venerdì 29 per il Core PCE.

Settimana tranquilla per l’economia britannica: i dati brillanti delle vendite al dettaglio della scorsa settimana  suggeriscono che l’economia potrebbe essere in ripresa dopo essere caduta in una recessione tecnica nel quarto trimestre dello scorso anno e che la BoE non avrà fretta nel modificare la sua politica monetaria come ci si aspetterebbe. Il mantenimento di tassi di interesse più elevati sarebbe positivo per la sterlina, in quanto tassi più alti attraggono maggiori afflussi di capitali esteri. Occhi puntati quindi sulla giornata di giovedì, in cui saranno pubblicati i dati sul PIL.
